Last week we brought you the in-car video of Doug Peterson's Formula Mazda crash at Road America, and now we have the incident from almost every possible angle and vantage point.

While Peterson's ride was the wildest, the scenes of frenzied of avoidance maneuvers, brake lock-ups, and general mayhem for those farther back in the field in this video, via Autoweek, are almost as hair-raising.

The crash occurred at the start of the SCCA Chicago Region June Sprints earlier this month, as Peterson moved to overtake and cars in front of him slowed abruptly, jamming several cars into the wall--and Peterson on top of it.

If you weren't already aware of the dangers of open-wheel racing, where even a slight touch can launch a car airborne--even at relatively normal speeds--you will be now.
