After months of spy shots, spy videos and leaked details, we finally have an introduction date for the all-new 2013 Porsche Cayman. According to Automotive News (subscription required) the new Cayman coupe will make its entry at this November’s Los Angeles Auto Show, with sales beginning in later 2012 or early 2013.

As with the previous generation, expect the new Cayman to be heavily influenced by the new 2013 Porsche Boxster, set to hit U.S. dealers later this month. Based on the spy photos we’ve seen to date, the Cayman’s interior looks like it’s pulled from the Boxster’s assembly line, but we say that’s not a bad thing.

Expect the new Cayman to produce more horsepower than the revised Boxster, with estimates of around 280 horsepower being thrown around for Cayman models, with the Cayman S expected to make around 330 horsepower. That should translate to 0-60 mph times of around 5.3 seconds for the Cayman and 4.6 seconds for the S version.

If you can’t wait until November to see the 2013 Porsche Cayman in action, you can feed your need by checking out the spy video posted to the High Gear Media YouTube channel.
