Chrysler has teamed up with Warner Bros. Pictures for the release of The Dark Knight Rises with a contest to see who can create the best commercial for the 2012 Chrysler 300--with an "Imported from Gotham City" theme.
Entrants will get two weeks to work, and a handful of materials including Chrysler footage of the 300, clips from the movie, and music. The best use of these assets to create a 30-second commercial spot for the "Imported from Gotham City" 300/Dark Knight mashup.
The top three clips will be chosen, with the winner to hand-picked by Christopher Nolan, writer, director, and producer of The Dark Knight Rises.
The winner will get a sit-down with a professional editor to put some polish on their commercial, and a trip to New York City for the red carpet premiere.
