2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 modified by Hennessey Performance

If you’ve been fortunate enough to get your hands on the highly-desirable Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, you’ve probably already tested the car’s performance and experienced all that its 580-horsepower supercharged V-8 has to offered.

If you’ve been left wanting more, then the guys at Hennessey Performance are certainly worth a call.

The tuner based in Texas has been building high-horsepower supercars for almost two decades and has already released an insane package for the Camaro ZL1 that lifts output to a lofty 1,021 horsepower.

That’s almost certain to be too much for most, but fortunately Hennessey offers ZL1 owners several different states of tune.

The tuning firm has released details of its other packages, which includes a base HPE650 kit with 658 horsepower, a HPE700 kit with 707 horsepower and another upgrade dubbed the HPE800 with 800 horsepower on tap.

The various packages all start with the basic 6.2-liter V-8 found in the Camaro ZL1, and then either build on the engine’s supercharging system or replace it altogether with a twin-turbocharging kit.

The best part is that all of Hennessey’s upgrades, including the 1,021-horsepower HPE1000 kit, come with a 1 Year/12,000 mile warranty on the modifications.
