Michael Andretti has a lot on his plate, running an IZOD IndyCar Series team, a squad in the Firestone Indy Lights Championship, Star Mazda and USF2000 series.
He also promotes the Toronto INDYCAR race, Milwaukee IndyFest and now has signed on as co-promoter of the 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore.
Andretti Sports Marketing is working with Race On LLC to promote and operate the Labor Day weekend race that has both the IZOD IndyCar Series and the American Le Mans Series as featured contests.
The group's race contract was approved by a vote of the Baltimore City Board of Estimates on Wednesday, May 16 and quickly announced at a news conference in the city.
Race On LLC, a group led by Baltimore businessmen J.P. Grant and Greg O'Neill announced sanctioning agreements with both ALMS and INDYCAR for the weekend event. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 28 at the official event website: http://www.RaceOnBaltimore.com and through all Ticketmaster outlets.

Andretti Sports Marketing chose Kevin Healy as its managing director. A 30-year airline industry veteran, he's also the managing director for Milwaukee IndyFest at the historic Milwaukee Mile this June.
