Patrick Long’s job requires him to wear a suit to the office. It’s not a three-piece suit, but it is a three-layer suit, since Long works as a factory racer for Porsche. In fact, Long is the only American who currently derives a paycheck directly from Porsche for his lap times.

Long may have lap records at Monticello, class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the Petit Le Mans, but he still has superiors with lofty expectations of his driving ability. When someone up the ladder says he wants a cup of coffee, it’s Long’s job to deliver that caffeine, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

In our experience, Hurley Haywood is a much nicer guy than you see here. The video above may be tongue-in-cheek, but it does serve well to show off the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0, Barber Motorsports Park and the Porsche Driving School. In fact we can’t think of a better location to take a Porsche school in any model, since the track boasts a challenging layout and truly amazing facilities.
