Today we have the official (non-leaked) details on the new Mercedes-Benz Concept Style coupe--and it looks fantastic. With power from a turbo four-cylinder and a futuristic interior, the Concept Style coupe is a just-shy-of-production compact four-door coupe we'd like to see more of.

We've driven the 2012 Volkswagen Golf R, and the news is mostly good--it comes off as a better overall car than the previous R32, which was a very fun car. Sadly, VW won't let you completely defeat the traction/stability control system, limiting its ultimate fun factor.

The G Class AMG range is now complete with full details and fresh photos of the G63 AMG--the one we'll actually get here in the U.S. Not that we wouldn't like a shot at the V-12 monster that is the G65, too.

Catch all of these stories and more in the day's car news headlines below.
