Remember the Scion FR-S Concept that made the rounds at U.S. auto shows in 2011? The concept was created by Five Axis Design, a company that specializes in building show cars and in manufacturing aero kits and wheels for Lexus, Toyota and Scion vehicles.

Five Axis is back with a new aero kit for the upcoming 2013 Scion FR-S, and it closely follows the styling of last year’s Scion FR-S Concept. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends upon your view of the concept’s styling, which is best summed up as “bold.”

As shown in the brief video above, the soon-to-be-available Five Axis Edition Scion FR-S includes a four-piece aero kit, a rear spoiler, Five Axis badging and a suspension drop to improve the car’s stance. It also wears different Five Axis wheels on driver and passenger side, presumably for product photography.

The compete Five Axis kit will be available through Scion dealers, as part of the Scion optomize (sic) program. Prices haven’t been released, but similar unpainted Five Axis kits for other Scion products range in price from $995 to $1,195. Color-matched kits are also available on a special-order basis, for an additional charge.

Head on over to the Five Axis Design website for more details on body kits for the FR-S and other Toyota products.
