The New York Auto Show
is barely a week away, and Toyota is gearing up for the debut of an all-new sedan, designed in the U.S., and we're expecting the Avalon.
Fortunately, the teaser image doesn't put us to sleep. Just the opposite in fact--something rather out of character for the Avalon. Of course, it's a design sketch at this point--there's still room for Toyota to bean-count it into boring submission.
We have our hopes that that won't happen, however. The newest products from Lexus have us excited for the brand for the first time in a long while, and so do the various versions of the Toyobaru coupe. The new Avalon could be yet another hit in the re-imagined range of this year's Toyotas.
While we don't know anything else about the car just yet, Toyota will reveal all this coming Thursday, April 5th, at the Jacob Javits Center at 10:30 a.m. EDT. We'll be on hand to bring you live news and photos, so mark your calendars.
