Then again, does it matter? Intrigue sells books and movies, and so does sex appeal. Following in the footsteps of the wildly successful Fiat 500 Abarth ad starring Romanian model Catrinel Menghia, Ram’s latest teaser ad fits as much sex into 37 seconds as possible.
Ram even has a microsite dedicated to the video, and an update is promised this week. We don’t have any insider information on what’s beneath the curtain, but we’ve heard guesses ranging from a new Limited trim level to a murdered-out Mopar edition of the truck, similar to the new Chrysler 300 Mopar.
Look closely, and you’ll see what appears to be an air dam underneath the front bumper. We’re guessing (or is it hoping) the mad geniuses in the SRT labs have cooked up a muscle truck version of the Ram, similar to the Viper-powered SRT10 sold from 2004 to 2006.
If that’s the case, don’t expect a full reveal of the truck before the debut of the new Viper, still planned (as far as we know) for the New York Auto Show.
