Fisker, the startup company behind the Karma hybrid luxury sedan and the upcoming Nina electric car, has been forced to stop work on its new plant because of failure to meet milestones required by the Department of Energy in its loan contract.

The 2013 Cadillac ATS continues to impress with a new video detailing its performance sound--but whether it will be able to keep pace with the likes of Audi, Mercedes, BMW, and Lexus will have to wait until we get our hands on one.

Audi's next-generation $8 will keep its normally-aspirated V-8 and V-10 engines despite the supercar trend of going turbo.
