It’s a sad fact that a vast majority of supercar owners will never take their million-dollar machinery to the extremes they were designed for.

In fact, it’s quite common for many of these beauties to be locked away in garages, only to be driven a few hundred miles each year.

While we don’t condone speeding on public roads, we at least admire the owner of the Bugatti Veyron in this latest video for driving his pride and joy near its limits.

He achieves multiple runs at speeds of up to 225 mph (still several mph off the Veyron’s top speed of 253 mph), and invited his friends along to ride shotgun or stand outside filming.

According to the owner, the car was kept in handling mode (not top speed mode) due to the uneven surface of the road used.

While it’s not stated, the road being used is believed to be a stretch of the I-8 in Arizona.

We strongly recommend that any supercar owner watching this doesn’t try the same in their neck of the woods--unless they have full permission from authorities.
