A golden retriever sits in the passenger seat of a Bugatti Veyron in L.A.

They say that a dog is man’s best friend, but we wonder just how many people out there would leave their pet dog unattended in a car that stickers for about $2 million.

We now know of at least one individual that would.

Pictured above is a Bugatti Veyron parked curbside on a street in West Hollywood, California. While this in itself is not that peculiar--we are talking about West Hollywood after all--a look inside reveals that a fairly large golden retriever is sitting alone in the passenger seat.

Looking at the rest of the photos posted on AutoGespot, we can see that the owner of the car had popped in to a nearby store to pick up a few items and must have had no qualms about leaving his dog unattended in the Bugatti.

We just hope the dog didn’t get bored and decided at some point to scratch or chew the expensive interior.
