Acura NSX Super Bowl Spot: Getting The First One

Follow Nelson

The next Acura NSX is still little more than a plastic buck, just beyond the twinkle-in-a-designer's-eye stage of development, but known car aficionado Jerry Seinfeld is already fighting some random rich dude for the rights to buy the first one.

The spot tracks Seinfeld's ludicrous attempts to get the car, from pimping out the Soup Nazi to chatting up an omelette chef. There's even a surprise twist at the end, which we won't ruin for you, that involves Jay Leno.

Sure, it's just a commercial, but it's a commercial about the coolest Acura (and one of the few interesting Honda products since the S2000) to come along in a decade. And it gives us hope that however the game itself goes, there'll be entertainment, not just beer, on tap.
