There’s no denying that the new 2013 Ford Fusion
is a looker, and these latest live photos confirm that the stylish sedan looks just as good in the metal as it does in the stylized press shots we saw earlier.
The new Fusion is also a star when it comes to environmental consciousness, with potential buyers being able to pick from three different types of powertrains--gas, hybrid or plug-in hybrid--that are all either class-leading or near the top when it comes to fuel efficiency.
On top of that, buyers will also be able to choose from front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive applications, as well as the choice of automatic or manually shifted six-speed transmissions.
Note, the rest of the world will see the Fusion land as the replacement for the Mondeo, which like the current model will also come with a frugal turbodiesel option.
Look out for the car in showrooms this fall, while overseas buyers will have to wait until next year for the new Mondeo to arrive.
