Reigning Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne, the youngest NASCAR Sprint Cup Daytona 500 race winner - at 20 years and a single day - returns to the iconic No. 21 Wood Brothers' Ford Fusion in 2012.

Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) is also coming back as primary sponsor on the car for at least 12 races, marking the 12th consecutive year's partnership with the famed Wood Brothers Racing team.

Both Motorcraft and Quick Lane will be prominently displayed on the sides of the No. 21 Ford Fusion, starting with the Daytona 500 in February.  "We are proud to continue our relationship with such an outstanding team," Mary Lou Quesnell, marketing director for FCSD said.

"Thanks to the hard work of the Wood family, the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion continues to be one of the most popular cars in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.  Fans are just drawn to Trevor's enthusiasm," she said.  "We look forward to a successful 2012 season, starting off by defending our win at the Daytona 500."

Eddie Wood noted, "It's really exciting to be back together with Trevor behind the wheel of the No. 21, and with Motorcraft and Quick Lane," continuing a long, successful history with Wood Brothers Racing.  "We are looking forward to next week's testing at Daytona International Speedway and hopefully winning again at Daytona."

This Motorcraft sponsorship from Ford's brand of automotive parts - ranging from filters and spark plugs to engines and transmissions - marks the primary sponsorship on the Ford Fusion for 12 races, beginning at Daytona.  FordParts.com will be an associate sponsor in 2012; the balance of the season's efforts is yet to be determined and will likely depend on the amount of success achieved at Daytona this year.

After the announcement came through Bayne tweeted, "It's official!  I'm pumped to have the opportunity to be behind the wheel of the Wood Brothers No. 21 again this season!"

In addition to the Cup races he ran with the Wood Brothers in 2011, Bayne drove in the Nationwide Series for Roush Fenway Racing as teammate to 2011 champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
