Lara Stone and Mercedes-Benz SL star in new Calvin Klein campaign

The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has been paired with Dutch supermodel Lara Stone in the latest campaign being run by fashion brand Calvin Klein.

Dubbed “Icons of Style”, the campaign has kicked off with the unveiling of this striking image captured by photographer Alex Prager.

It features both beauties and takes its inspiration from the classic film noir titles of the 1950s.

As Prager puts it, “A beautiful woman stands alone in the desert, suitcases in hand. Yet in this 21st century update on classic Film Noir, the blonde is her own getaway driver, outpacing a tornado in a sleek SL Roadster by Mercedes-Benz.”

Prager is known for her surreal and enigmatic imagery inspired by the likes of Frederico Fellini and David Lynch. Yet in her versions--heady with mystery, lust and desire--the woman is in control.

We’re not too sure about the image, but with a car as gorgeous as the new SL it’s pretty hard not to take a great photo. If you want to see more from the campaign, it will be making its official debut during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2012 from February 9-15.

  1. Please could post photos of the new 2013 Mercedes benz sl with the roll-bar up.
It gave the older style a sportier look. It made the car more attractive to younger drivers.
    Thanks
