Say you’re a debonair guy with a healthy bank account and in need of some new wheels, but you don’t know a Ferrari from a Fiat.

Well, the classic expert on good taste and all things men like, Playboy, has put together its annual list of the hottest cars of the coming year to help you wade through the new car madness and guarantee you’re driving something the fairer sex will approve of.

In 2011 top honors went to the ultra-svelte SLS AMG from Mercedes-Benz, while for 2012 that prize goes to none other than the Jaguar XKR-S. The good news is that you don’t have to be earning a six-figure salary to be popular with the ladies as Playboy has selected its picks from all ends of the new car spectrum.

All in all we’d have to agree with most of the choices listed--you can check out the digital print version of the awards by heading over to the Playboy website--and we guess now you really do have a reason to read Playboy... for the articles, of course.

Playboy’s hottest cars of 2012 in no particular order

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4

Lexus CT 200h
BMW 1-Series M Coupe
Bentley Continental GTC
