Czech Police Clamp Down Bugatti Veyron: Video

It appears no one is above the law when it comes to parking, at least in the Czech Republic, as the owner of this Bugatti Veyron found out recently.

The video above shows local police applying a wheel clamp to the million dollar exotic, which was left illegally parked on a downtown Prague street.

We just hope the police in the clip realize that the wheel they are clamping costs a cool $11,000. Add on the price of the tire, which is specially designed to travel at speeds above 250 mph and retails for about $9,000, and any damage to the wheel and tire could rack up to more than their annual incomes.


Nevertheless, we’re glad to see that the police in the Czech Republic won’t let anyone get away with illegal parking, not even Bugatti Veyron drivers.

    Guys from this Czech site www.autoforum.cz/zajimavosti/mestska-policie-praha-vs-bugatti-veyron-boticka-to-jisti/ claim that they know owner of this Veyron and that he has permission to park in this area. It only stands for his everyday car but it was present in this Veyron. So it seems to me like they wanted to punish a rich man more than anything else...

    fail stupid cops so they would have 2 pay 4 the damage of the rim on the bugatti
