Throwing wicked powerslides in a 560-horsepower twin-turbo V-8 super sedan is child's play. Doing it on the beach, in the surf, is not. But the 2012 BMW M5 takes it in stride.

Manhandled by precision driver Wolfgang Weber, the M5 gracefully slides, pirouettes, and donuts its way across the sand and scares the daylight out of some seagulls. What's not to like?

The reason for the video: wishing luck to Britain's Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for the 2012 Games.
