Who needs an excuse to spend a few minutes watching a 2012 Porsche 911 circulate around Laguna Seca? Certainly not us. If you do, however, we'll give you a few.

First, the driver is Patrick Long, factory racer for Porsche. Second, the chase car is a Cayman R piloted by Leh Keen, GT class champion of the Rolex Grand-Am series this year. Third, it's a 2012 Porsche 911 at Laguna Seca.

    Looks like another 911 that just voided it's warranty. If your dealership knows or suspects you’ve tracked the car (like every Porsche advertisement and press junket shows), you’ll be sorry that you ever bought into Porsche's marketing nonsense.
