The gang at Corvette Racing experienced a strong high this year with a win at Le Mans, but the rest of the season didn't go as well--including Petit Le Mans. After qualifying eigth and ninth, one car broke early, and the other couldn't quite keep the pace necessary to win.

At the end of the trying race, the remaining Corvette finished fourth in GT and 14th overall at the hands of Oliver Gavin, Jan Magnussen, and Richard Westbrook. Despite finishing fourth, the Corvette was just one lap down on the GT-winning Ferrari 458 Italia after more than nine-and-a-half hours of racing.
