The 580-horsepower 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is one beastly muscle car, hotly anticipated by Bowtie fans eager for an answer to the Ford Mustang GT500 and performance enthusiasts in general. Today, we get yet another look at the car courtesy of Jay Leno's Garage.

With Mark Reuss in tow, the same prototype car that ran the Nurburgring's Nordschelife in 7:41 pulled into JayLeno's Garage for a quick test drive. We're looking forward to putting the car to the test ourselves, but for now, see what GM's engineers and Leno himself have to say about the super-Camaro.

(Jay comes in just before the three-minute mark, after a short clip about the ZL1's launch control system)
