Ferrari 458 Spider
Still fresh from its unveiling at the Frankfurt Auto Show earlier this month, the Ferrari 458 Italia's drop-top sister, the 458 Spider, now has a (reported) starting price: $257,000.
It's the perfect answer to the question, "What should I do with that spare quarter of a million in the basement?" Why? Because it sports the same 4.5-liter, 570-horsepower naturally-aspirated V-8 engine found in the 458 Italia, has a convertible hard top, and weighs just 111 pounds more than its fixed-roof sibling.
The pricing, as yet, is unofficial, reported by
Automotive News (subscription required) but we'll have the final figures for you as soon as they're released. In the mean time, check out our
live images of the 458 Spider from Frankfurt, and then hit up our
official preview for all of the details.
