Nissan was one of the first companies on the Apple iAd bandwagon when Steve Jobs announced his revolution in advertising over a year ago. In fact, an iAd for the 2011 Nissan Leaf was one of the first things he demoed.
Steve Jobs may no longer be at the helm but Nissan still sees value in the iAd technology and as Mashable reports, a new iAd for the 2012 Nissan Versa utilizes a previously unexploited function - full 360-degree views with the iPhone's gyro technology.
Want to look around the interior and exterior of the Versa? If you can put up with the people in silly hats sitting on the back seat, you can. Just spin around, look up and down, and you can view the car's interior, or view it in a street scene with the exterior view.
As with other iAds you can click through different menus or shake your phone to achieve different functions (such as changing the passengers' daft headwear), and you can enter a competition to win a Versa too if you don't fancy actually buying one.
