The Suzuki Swift is a hot little hatch still sold in most parts of the globe and in its Swift Sport guise can be a hoot to drive, easily upsetting some much more expensive models when it comes to fun factor.

The latest version of this performance variant was unveiled this week at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, and we’re sad to report that there are currently no plans to bring it over to the U.S.

This is the second-generation of the Swift Sport, and like the previous model power still comes from a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, with drive going to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

Peak output is rated at 134 horsepower and 118 pound-feet of torque.
