The 2012 Ford Focus ST is anything but a secret; we've seen spy shots, spy videos, the official unveiling at the Paris auto show last year and again at Detroit, and official video of the car in motion. But that doesn't mean we're not eager to see it finally arrive here in the U.S. in road-going form, which it will do this weekend, at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

The 2012 Focus ST houses a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine rated at 247 horsepower. Front-wheel drive with a six-speed manual transmission, the 2012 ST will be most closely competing with the slightly more powerful Mazdaspeed3. With its own take on hot-hatch suspension tuning and the new Focus's good looks, however, we're sure the Blue Oval's offering will find plenty of fans.
