Turbo rally-car anti-lag is a beautiful thing. The careful adjustment of ignition timing, fuel injection, and exhaust valve opening results in still-burning fuel rocketing out of the engine during off-throttle deceleration to keep exhaust velocities high and the turbo spooled. It's a brutal, magical thing. It's also an element of Ken Block's upcoming Gymkhana FOUR.

The video features Block's Monster Rally Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle, the pint-sized, single-platform Swiss Army knife of motorsports. Check out the teaser footage (complete with flaming tailpipe) below and get ready for the real deal next Tuesday.
