We're just over a month away from Frankfurt's blockbuster auto show, and the concepts and new models are coming fast. One of the latest to join the fray is the
Hyundai i30.
What's an i30? You might know it better as the
Elantra Touring. That's how it's named here in the U.S., and unlike the Elantra sedan, the Elantra Touring is soldiering on with its old look for now. The new car hasn't been confirmed for us quite yet, but it's a likely candidate.
The car previewed in the image above, however, wears a face that's very much like the new Elantra sedan, and will likely be made even more so for U.S. sale. Adding a hatchback/wagon body style to the Elantra's good looks, the Touring version will be the more useful of the two, though it'll likely continue to be overshadowed by its sedan counterpart here in America.
We'll be hitting the
Frankfurt show in full force, bringing you live images, news, and more straight from the floor, so stay tuned.
