AMG owners and potential buyers now have access to an exclusive lounge at the Mercedes-Benz tuner’s headquarters in Affalterbach, Germany. As a tool designed to foster customer relations, the newly constructed building, which spans some 5,651 square-feet, is a meeting-place for the growing, worldwide AMG community.

The new multi-storey building is directly reachable from the main AMG showroom in Affalterbach via an outside staircase. In the entrance the visitor is treated to a photographic display of the legendary 300 SEL 6.8 AMG touring car on the famous "Eau Rouge" in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. This work of art consists of individual mosaics arranged in sequence on different levels.

Speaking at the opening of the lounge, AMG boss Ola Källenius explained that the lounge provides the perfect setting for customers take possession of their new vehicles, which are delivered straight from the factory.

One of the key benefits, for customers and AMG alike, will be the ability to gain inside knowledge, have direct contact with AMG and the chance of offer suggestions for future model development. It doesn’t hurt that there’s also a bar and world-class kitchen. We can’t wait until own visit.
