    I'm a tad confused at why the MB C350 made the list at $39k, yet the Infiniti G37 didn't...starting at a lower price point that the Benz, and has well over 300 hp and 0-60 times just as fast...

    if the 335i is on the list then surely a Boxster or Cayman would have made your list. Here in Oz they are both around the $110k mark. Oh and stick the G8 on their too hahaha

    Will, Wizards, I agree with both of you--but we had to make judgment calls for a choice of 10, and even then we had to throw in a bonus car for 11 total. There really are more like 20 or 25 cars that offer great performance/value propositions under $50,000--we just picked some of our favorites.

    I really wouldn't consider over 7 seconds as being fast.It seems like the writer just chose the first 10 cars that came to mind. The ones that are fast are expensive and the ones that are cheap are slow. The only real deserving car on the list is the Mustang.

    Reading the article again, my last comment wasn't rational. I'm glad we agree though that 7 seconds doesn't deserve the list. Also $50,000 doesn't count as "for the money". Well at least not for me.

    I think the 2011 WRX is the epitome of this list (that's why it's the main image and the first car discussed). At $25K and 4.7 to 60, it's both inexpensive and very fast. You can quibble with my choices, but I think these are 10 of the best values out there for fun/fast/nice cars.

    Nice list, terrible title... Top 10 cars for your money would be a better title... Why add the Mustang and not the Camaro? Camaro V6 and V8 make more power and the ZL1 is a scream. Nice try guys...

    YEah am agree with Jeff V8 is a heavy machine and more powerful than Mustang I think. Check top 5 Fastest cars in 2013

    I don't think the GTI, MB350, Hyundai, or Mazda should have been on that list at all. 7 sec + 0-60 is not close to fast anymore. My old 1988 Fiero GT could manage 0-60 in a little under 7, and that was more than 20 years ago.

    Performance for your money? How about adding the Nissan GT-R, or the C6 Z06? These cars are world beaters for under $100k. Also, where's the Mitsubishi EVO? The Camaro?

    my buddy has a 09 infinity g37x awd. its fast as heck. i have a 09 cobalt ss turbo. its pretty fast too. my car is cheap and fast. 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds, and a quarter mile time of 13.9 seconds at 102.5 mph. & that is completely bone stock. plus its a heck of a lot better looking then a miata.... smh... try to re-evaluate your top 10 and do another. a hyundai sonata???? seriously? 7.4 seconds is not fast.
