2012 Lexus GS spy shots
The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is primarily a place for the world's rarest, most collectible cars and their owners to gather for a little friendly competition, some auctions, and lots of high-end hobnobbing. But it's also a venue for a few new car debuts every year, and this year, it looks like the 2012 Lexus GS will be one of them.
According to a report from AutoGuide, a Lexus insider says the fourth-gen GS will make its debut at the seaside car show. As we've seen in our recent spy shots and from the LF-Gh concept car, the GS is going to be a fairly radical break from Lexus' current, rather sleepy, design themes.
The front end of the car is particularly dramatic, with wide air intakes, steeply raked and sharply defined curves, and an unusual grille configuration.
We'll be live at Pebble Beach again this year, so look for our coverage of the 2012 Lexus GS and much, much more as August 20-21 draws near.
