Mercedes AMG Fan? Get Accessories With 'High Tech Qualities'

The world of automotive branded merchandise impresses and amuses in equal measure. For every sleek Porsche Design fountain pen, there's a Ferrari teddy bear to redress the balance.

Now is the turn of the Mercedes-Benz AMG brand to offer a range of suitably high-tech merchandise for both business customers and a more casual sport and leisure line.

You won't find any teddy bears or carbon fibre child measuring sticks here - the order of the day is a line of functional trolley suitcases for your laptop and clothes in a suitably moody shade of black with diamond pattern stitching, just like their vehicles' interiors. AMG has allowed a little fun to slip into the design though, with wheels styled to look like those on your AMG Mercedes-Benz.

There's a business bag available too, and even a business shirt to let your colleagues know your brand allegiance. As you'd expect, there are documents cases, aluminum pens, leather wallets and all manner of other AMG accessories too.

If you like carbon fiber then you're in for a treat with the casual range. Actual carbon fibers have been woven into the T-shirts, though they're there for the purposes of bacteria inhibiting rather than structural reasons. There's an umbrella for the rainy days and polo shirts and caps for the sunnier ones and even if you don't own an actual AMG you can pretend you do with a flashy carbon fiber and leather keyring.

Finally, the kids (or the big kids) in the family will love the range of SLS AMG scale models, available in 1:87, 1:43 and 1:18 scale.

Like the cars themselves then, AMG's range of accessories is precision engineered and oh-so tasteful. There's no word on pricing as yet, but quality like this doesn't come cheap...
