2013 BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe with M Sports Package spy shots
We know that a new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe
is in the works, a car first previewed by the Concept Gran Coupe
at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show and destined to go on sale in the second half of next year.
Today, we have new spy shots of the same car, this time fitted with its optional M Sports Package.
Looking virtually identical to the M Sports Package being readied for
the standard 6-Series Coupe and Convertible, the latest styling and performance kit for the new 6-Series Gran Coupe gives the dynamic four-door coupe an even sportier look thanks to some distinct M design cues.
We can clearly see a distinct bumper design with larger intakes and new LED detailing, as well as unique five spoke alloy wheels and what appears to be a subtle integrated rear diffuser.
Hopefully there will also be an adaptive M Suspension option, allowing the ride-height to be reduced, along with electronically controlled shock absorbers (Dynamic Damping Control) to improve handling.
Inside, there should be a BMW M shifter, M steering wheel and M footrest. Carbon fiber trim is also likely to be available. In combination with the M Sports Package, customers will also likely have the choice of exclusive paintwork and more wheel designs.
The new M Sports Package for the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe should be available shortly after the latest four-door coupe goes on sale towards the end of next year.
