We’ve known for some time that HISTORY was planning to air a second season of Top Gear USA, after the show’s first season, which comprised some 10 episodes, managed to pull in a total of 60 million viewers. Now, thanks to the show’s Facebook page, we know that the first episode of the brand new season will air on July 24.

While the show never reached the popularity of the original the British version, which itself just reached season 17 when the latest episode aired in the UK last Sunday, it’s got its own following and the potential to be great.

In case you missed the entire first season, Top Gear USA stars comedian and car buff Adam Ferrara, champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood. Let’s hope this second one grows on us, or else it could be the last.

  1. I am only giving this second one a chance because I really love the original UK version of the show. The American version lacks the wit that the Brits have, as well as a passion for beautifully engineered vehicles.

  2. Cancel "Top Gear" America; Period We do not need Two, the American show is Limp !

  3. Get on board man, its a good car tv show, you gonna watch Maury instead?

  4. I have never seen the US version of this. How is it compared to the British one?

  5. Didn't see it either, but in my experience the UK tv shows are always better.

  6. Sorry to say, but that's right.

  7. don't agree with you

  8. personally prefer the US version

  9. I will be just offering this next one particular a chance simply because I truly enjoy the main UK edition from the display. Your National model does not have the particular sense of humor the Brits possess, in addition to a passion for magnificently engineered autos. Tesla secret
