Utah Highway Patrol car does burnout for charity

Why the Utah Highway Patrol is in possession of a 900-horsepower Dodge Charger patrol car, we don't know. We just hope they aren't using taxpayer money to keep tires on it.

The burnout on video below is, even by 'Merican muscle proportions, pretty huge. That it's done by cops makes it rare, and that it's done for a charity benefit called Coats for Kids makes it something we can feel good about.

Until, that is, that particular cop is looking back at us in our rear-view mirror.

  1. Highway patrol are skillful drivers of both cars and motorcycles and occasionally, they show their stunt driving abilities to celebrate events and as fundraising. However, it surely is upsetting seeing a cop teaching you how a burnout is done after he gave you a reckless driving ticket for doing the same, which is a reality in many US states :-/
