Infiniti CEO Carlos Tavares has hinted that the Infiniti-Red Bull sponsorship was more of a partnership, with a flow of technology and resources to pass between the two operations. Now, Sebastian Vettel has hinted at a special-edition production model to bear his name in an interview by Fast Lane Daily.

The teaser is very vague: which model, which markets, and what will constitute the Vettel treatment all remain unknown. We can say we're more than a little intrigued by the idea, however, provided Infiniti is thinking of enhancing its IPL line with some real upgrades and not just looking to spread stickers, badges, and embroidery around a limited-run G37S.
