Corvette Racing at Long Beach
Corvette Racing's excellent ongoing series, Track To Street, now in its second season, has given us a look inside the mind and spirit of a professional racing team the way few others get to see. This time, we see what it's like to tackle one of the world's premiere street circuits at Long Beach.
Narrow, lined with concrete, and punishing mistakes with broken cars or worse, high-speed and vicious in its bends, the street circuit is a test of any car and driver and the team that supports them. Starting in last doesn't help things, but that's what one of Corvette Racing's drivers did, with the other car starting in second.
