Afzal Kahn, owner of the eponymous 'Project Kahn' outfit, has unveiled his latest creation in what has become a long line of customized luxury vehicles and high-performance supercars. Treading more along the lines of sophistication and style rather than overt showiness often shown by the German tuners, Project Kahn’s British based team has taken the Porsche Panamera and made it not only more visually appealing but sportier and aggressive too.
The modifications to the Porsche Panamera include a lowered suspension that brings the car even closer to the ground, as well as a slightly modified rear bumper, bullet side vents, sports exhaust system and custom RS600 style wheels. This latter feature helps to reduce unsprung weight and thus improves acceleration and cornering.
Another unique element of the Project Kahn Panamera is its sumptuous interior which has been upgraded using the tuning firm’s customary blend of leather, carbon fiber and wood.
For now, power upgrades are still on hold. With a healthy 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque already available from the ‘entry-level’ Porsche Panamera, Afzal Kahn and his team have decided that tuning options for this particular vehicle are simply not necessary, for the time being anyway.
You can bet a high-performance RS600 package is already in the works. You only have to look at other Project Kahn creations, like this 600 horsepower Range Rover Sport
, to a get a taste of what’s possible.
