There's no denying the simple, elegant statement made by a sleek black sports car. Porsche took a stab at celebrating that fact by holding a photo contest for its Black Edition cars, and the results are stunning. These are the eight winning photos from the contest.

The "photos" were taken through a unique web interface that allowed users to "shoot" the cars (either 911 or Boxster S Black Editions) in the way they thought best showed off the curves, lines, and features of each model. The winning photos were then selected, posted to Porsche's Facebook page, and are now available as posters.
