2011 Pagani Huayra

Tucked into the bottom of an interview of Horacio Pagani, the mad, brilliant man behind the supercars that bear his name, was a tiny tidbit of information: there will be a Huayra roadster, and it'll be here in about three years.

It's not really a suprise--Pagani also made a roadster version of the Zonda, including many special editions. Nonetheless, the confirmation gives us yet another hypercar creation to look forward to.

Other tasty morsels in the interview: Pagani thinks that after seven years of work to develop the Huayra, people should be willing to learn to pronounce its name properly. That said, he'd have preferred to call the car Da Vinci, but the name was already taken.

  1. Pronounce it as "Wire-A". Easy. This car is in a class of it's own, a fantasy gone real.
