2012 BMW M5 teaser

It didn’t make this week’s 2011 Geneva Motor Show but a brand new 2012 BMW M5 is just around the corner, at least in concept form, and in the lead up to its arrival BMW’s hallowed M Division has released an extended version of the original teaser video from a couple of days ago.

The latest clip has BMW M boss Dr. Kay Segler boasting about the new car’s attributes, and we also get to see one of its final prototypes carving up the snow, with its engine revving loudly.

A concept version of the new M5 is reportedly set to debut next month at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, with the production to follow at September’s Frankfurt event. This means first sales of the new super saloon isn’t likely to commence until around the end of the year. In the meantime, check out our previous post for the latest info and spy shots.
