Nelly stars in 2011 Ford Explorer advertisement

The Super Bowl may be well and truly over but during tonight’s airing of the 53^rd annual Grammy Awards, the Blue Oval unveiled a new advertisement for its 2011 Ford Explorer starring hip hop star Nelly.

Rather than going the dramatic route, which Chrysler took with its ‘Born of Fire’ ad featuring Eminem, Ford has taken a more comical approach and even has Nelly answer a question about its latest Explorer SUV posted by a fan on its Facebook page.
