Actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld, a well-known Porsche aficionado, is selling his beloved 2004 Porsche Carrera GT after having put only 3,176 miles on its odometer.

It’s not known why Seinfeld is selling the Porsche but the opportunity provides enthusiasts with the chance to own one of the rarest and most collectible supercars on the planet. Only around 1,200 Carrera GTs were ever built and less than half of these actually turned up in the U.S.

The vendor of the car has the certificate of title to prove Seinfeld was the previous owner, placing him amongst a handful of other celebrity owners of the Porsche Carrera GT including fellow comedian Jay Leno, F1 driver Christijan Albers, Fashion designer Ralph Lauren and Golf legend Tiger Woods.

This particular example of the Carrera GT features a black exterior with grey leather trim for the cabin and appears to be in meticulous condition. Follow the jump below for more images and details.
