Earlier today Mercedes teased us with snippets of its upcoming fourth-quarter Super Bowl commercial, and now we have the 99-second long version of the 60-second spot that will air during the game. It features the unveiling of the 2012 SLS AMG Roadster and the 2012 C63 AMG Coupe along with the 2012 SLK and 2012 CLS.
The ad itself features a cross-section of Mercedes cars, both vintage and current, sneaking out of their homes to welcome the new members to the family, backed by a smattering of Janis Joplin's famous homage to the brand.
The SLS AMG Roadster should get the same drivetrain and features as the hardtop version, though we'll have to wait for further details on exact specification and pricing. As for the C63 AMG Coupe, it's basically just a two-door version of the C63 AMG Sedan, meaning it gets the familiar 6.2 (6.3)-liter V-8, 451 to 481 horsepower and upgraded running gear in addition to the AMG style and materials treatment.
