The Citroen DS4, the charming and more seductive version of the C4, was awarded with the most beautiful car of the year prize, by 60,000 web users in 62 countries.

Along with this award, the Citroen DS4 was also declared to have the "Most Beautiful Car Interior of the Year," according to a panel of personalities in the sports, design, media, science and political worlds. The Most Beautiful Car and Car Interior of the Year award ceremony took place alongside the 26th Festival of the Automobile in Paris (France).

The Citroen DS4 has a coupe-like style, and web users said its styling made it a great illustration of the Citroen motto, Creative Technology. Inside the DS4, the judges were amazed with the enormous panoramic windshield that gives the DS4 interior a rich and light interior; among other features, they approved of the ergonomically correct seats and the dashboard's fine touch.

In this competition the Citroen DS4 took the lead, leaving behind models such as BMW 5 series, Honda CR-Z Hybrid and Renault Wind. Also entered in the competition were the MINI Countryman , Volvo S60 and Infiniti M37, but those didn't reach the final ballot due to the lack of votes.

The Citroen DS4 was first shown at the last Paris Auto Show, an event that took place in October 2010. The DS4 is the second model of the Citroen's luxury sub-brand, after the small and racy DS3 that will compete in this year's WRC (World Rally Championship).
