David Beckham’s Porsche 911 Turbo Fetches $217,100 At Auction

An unnamed buyer has just dropped $217,100 on a used 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and, to make matters worse, the car was extensively modified.

Normally, this would seem a ridiculous amount to pay for such a vehicle but in this case the car was previously owned by none other than soccer star David Beckham. The custom 911 Turbo Cabriolet was just one of Beckham's personal cars, which he was frequently seen driving around the streets of Los Angeles over the past couple of years.

It features a matte-black paint scheme, tinted lights and a fully custom interior with Beckham's Los Angeles Galaxy jersey number “23” stitched into the seat’s headrests.

Bidding on the car’s eBay auction came to a close last night at the $217,100 sum. The car’s original receipt, printed by Beverly Hills Porsche, states that the original buying pricing--not including the thousands probably spent on customization--was $145,790. And, as far as we know, the car hasn’t been involved in any accidents.
