With new versions of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series launched over the past year or two, Audi’s entrant in the mid-size executive sedan segment, the A6, was starting to get a little long in the tooth compared with its rivals. However, that’s all set to change as the brand new 2012 Audi A6 has finally made its debut, being revealed to the public for the first time at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show this morning.

A fresh new look, more powerful yet more fuel efficient engines and plenty of technological gizmos to keep even the most savvy of tech-heads happy, the new 2012 Audi A6 looks set to be a definite winner.
