Before we get into the specifics of the Sabine Schmitz comment, it should be noted that we don’t know what exactly about the Corvette irked her nor what context the comment was made in.

Schmitz, the infamous ‘Ring Queen, needs no introduction. Her driving skills, honed at the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife, grabbed the attention of the editors of South Africa's Car Magazine who enlisted her talents in their latest comparo of the world’s best performance cars.

In the promo video below for the comparo, Schmitz points to the Corvette and states: “this car is definitely castrated.” Unfortunately, we only get a small snippet of her comments describing the car, which happens to be the potent Z06 model. Full details of the comparo will be published in the magazine’s January issue.  

Perhaps someone who’s seen the entire video or read the issue will be able to shed some light on the subject in the comments below.

    well, it doesn't have the same engine as the ZR1, so basically, she's right.

    Yeah, I'm with you on that.. basically she's saying it's a neutered version of ZR1. I'm also wondering why Mr. Jeremy Clarkson of TopGear hasn't invited her over to do a hot lap at their track, would love to see her on the show and be interviewed by the guys.

    Yeah we know that.. you forgot Sabine ( Audi ) vs The Stig ( Porsche ), but actually do a hot lap in their reasonably priced car ( Kia C'eed ) while having a chat with Jeremy on the show would be nice to see.
