Lamborghini is quickly approaching its 50th year in the business of making stunningly fast performance machines and to celebrate, the company is reportedly working on a new vehicle.
According to Inside Line, the Italian automaker is developing a high-performance machine to celebrate its 50th anniversary that will occur in 2013.
Seeing as how the vehicle is still a ways off, no details have been revealed about the vehicle. Not to worry, there will be plenty to wet your Italian supercar palate while you wait for the anniversary model, including the new Aventador and Sesto Elemento.
The Aventador will be the replacement for the Murcielago, while the Sesto Elemento will be a track-only production model, similar to the Ferrari 599XX.
This isn’t the first time that Lamborghini has developed anniversary additions, as for their 25th they launched a special edition Countach and 15 years later, they launched the 40th anniversary Murcielago.
